Clermont Partners’ Elizabeth Saunders Honored as a 2019 NIRI Fellow
CHICAGO, June 4, 2019 – Clermont Partners, a women-owned strategic communications firm, proudly announces that the firm’s partner Elizabeth Saunders has been honored by The National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) as one of three NIRI Fellows for 2019 at the 50th NIRI Annual Conference.
The NIRI Fellows Recognition Program honors members who epitomize the leadership, integrity, involvement, and contributions of investor relations professionals. Those selected as “NIRI Fellows” are highly engaged individuals who have elevated the IR profession during their careers and have served as subject-matter experts, authors, and thought leaders within NIRI and the field of investor relations.
“I am honored to be part of this esteemed group of individuals. NIRI is a remarkable organization that has furthered the profession of investor relations,” said Elizabeth Saunders.
Earlier in her career, Saunders was a co-founder of Ashton Partners, one of the top-15 independent IR firms in the U.S. FTI Consulting acquired Ashton Partners in 2008. She then served as the Americas Chairman of the Strategic Communications segment at FTI Consulting. Renowned for her expertise in corporate governance, Saunders has published numerous articles and lectured throughout the U.S. on shareholder activism strategies. She was also named to the prestigious National Association of Corporate Director (NACD) “Directorship 100” and the Crain’s Chicago Business “40 Under 40”; and has spoken to the NACD and Women Corporate Directors (WCD). In 2016 she joined as a Partner at Clermont Partners, the firm is one of the only women-led and 100% women-owned communications firms in the country.
